Description
As a Vice President within the Alternative Lending team, you will be the lead Program Manager and partner with product to support the successful delivery of complex zero to one product build. Your experience in project management, software development, and technical savviness will be critical in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project scope, develop project plans, and manage project timelines. Your ability to be proactive, communicate effectively, and manage project risks will be essential in ensuring the team's success.Job Responsibilities:
- Lead technology programs from inception to closure, overseeing resource allocation, scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery.
- Build consensus and collaborate with Engineering, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams, including external partners, to deliver intended business outcomes.
- Proactively identify, manage, and communicate project risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies-including partner and integration dependencies-to improve delivery predictability.
- Develop and execute integration plans, ensuring alignment and seamless coordination across teams and partners.
- Remove impediments and facilitate project meetings, ensuring action items are tracked and completed on time.
- Communicate progress, status, risks, and issues transparently and effectively to executives and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and practices, leading with curiosity, technical judgment, and a commitment to efficiency and compassionate assertiveness.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- 4+ years of (technical) project management experience
- An active project management certification (PMP, PMP-ACP, PgMP, etc)
- Solid understanding of SDLC
- Hands-on experience leading projects using Jira for Agile delivery management
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical, cross-functional groups
- Exposure to project-focused executive-level Steering Committee meetings
- An ability to distill complex issues into solvable and actionable tasks
- A passion for pushing boundaries and questioning the status quo
