Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:
- Conduct therapy sessions with couples, facilitating communication and understanding between partners.
- Provide individual therapy sessions to family members, catering to their personal challenges and promoting their mental well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, focusing on a range of issues such as:
- Substance abuse recovery
- Resolving physical and psychological abuse trauma
- Addressing grief and loss
- Facilitating conflict resolution among family members
- Managing stress from work and personal life
- Helping families adapt to blended family dynamics
- Guiding clients through the adjustment process during separations and divorces
- Improving mother-daughter relationships
- Enhancing overall communication within families
- Utilize evidence-based practices and digital tools to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation consistent with organizational policies and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse client population that includes adults and children, with a special emphasis on family dynamics. By addressing various aspects of familial relationships and individual challenges, you will significantly contribute to improving overall mental health and fostering resilience in your clients.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Washington.
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
Preferred Experience
While candidates with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those who:
- Have demonstrated experience working in behavioral health settings.

- Are flexible with their availability, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.
