Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to client needs.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans that align with each client's goals.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals across disciplines—including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers—to ensure holistic care and support.
- Documenting client progress and treatment interventions in compliance with organizational standards, ensuring accurate records for ongoing case management.
- Engaging in continuous professional development by staying current with research, attending workshops, and participating in peer supervision sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including adults and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is necessary.
- Active licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or equivalent credential in the state of Washington.
- Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, particularly with diverse populations and a wide range of mental health concerns.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to connect effectively with clients and colleagues.
- A self-starter who is able to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Experience
While not required, preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for client documentation and treatment management.
- Background in trauma-informed care practices.
- Experience in community outreach and engagement strategies to enhance service accessibility.
Compensation and Benefits
The remuneration for this role ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on your experience and caseload management. Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package that includes:
