Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. This full-time, onsite position involves working in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility where you will play a crucial role in helping clients regain their physical health and improve their quality of life through personalized therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans focusing on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the functional independence of clients.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities, utilizing a variety of diagnostic and prognostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in their patient interactions to ensure proper treatment and adherence to care plans.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and the safe use of physical therapy equipment.
• Assess home environments and provide modifications aimed at increasing clients' independence during rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to optimize care strategies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure accurate clinical records.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay informed about best practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
• Be accessible for consultation with clients and their families regarding treatment and necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences to collaborate on patient care plans and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse range of individuals with varying rehabilitation needs, from athletes recovering from injuries to seniors looking to regain mobility post-surgery. You will focus on providing tailored therapy interventions that respect the unique circumstances and goals of each patient, fostering both physical recovery and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia, with a clean standing record.
• One year of relevant experience in physical therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient engagement and communication.
• High level of motivation, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Understanding of federal and state regulations pertaining to physical therapy practices and patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation environments, including working with a wide range of conditions.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records systems for patient documentation.
• Prior involvement with interdisciplinary teams in evaluating and designing patient-centered care plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
