Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in the comfort of our clients' homes in Appomattox, Virginia. Work Environment

This role is based onsite, as you will be providing treatment directly in clients' homes. The home care setting allows for meaningful one-on-one interactions, where you can witness the direct impact of your interventions on patients' daily lives. You will work independently while being supported by a team of healthcare professionals, providing collaborative care that enhances the client's rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and enhancing physical function.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to ensure appropriate execution of care plans, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical functions using diagnostic assessments related to muscle, joint, and nerve performance.
• Assess home environments to recommend modifications that promote client independence and safety.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, massages, and traction treatments, while providing encouragement and motivation to clients.
• Prepare detailed clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to maintain accurate client records.
• Collaborate as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, participating in case management meetings and sharing insights to enhance patient care.
• Regularly monitor and document clients' responses to therapy, communicating any changes to the physician or case manager promptly.
• Educate clients and their families about the physical therapy process, including the use of any prescribed devices and ongoing care strategies.
• Conduct onsite functional assessments and adapt care plans based on continuous evaluation and client feedback.
• Complete administrative tasks, including timely submission of orders and documentation in accordance with company policies.

The populations served by Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab include a range of individuals requiring rehabilitation from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, or age-related limitations. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current physical therapist license in good standing in Virginia.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, with preference given to candidates with experience in home care.
• Certification in CPR.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a passion for making informed treatment decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• A commitment to upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence and ethical practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to home healthcare.
• A history of involvement in interdisciplinary teams.
• Advanced training or specialization in orthopedic or geriatric therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
