Innovative Movement Rehab & Wellness Center in McLean, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, where you will interact closely with patients in the comfort of their homes. Our practice believes in a personalized approach to rehabilitation; hence, the environment is conducive to one-on-one patient interaction, allowing for customized treatment plans. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' objectives and design individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on providing one-on-one therapy to each patient, ensuring effective and dedicated interventions.
• Apply advanced manual therapy techniques and create evidence-based exercise protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement tailored wellness and fitness programs that address specific patient goals and needs.
• Empower patients to engage fully in their rehabilitation process, motivating them to commit to their treatment plans.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and modify care plans to ensure optimal progress towards rehabilitation goals.
• Document all patient interactions and care services accurately in accordance with practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We primarily serve patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our focus is on utilizing non-invasive treatment options to enhance mobility, reduce medication reliance, and provide a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid Virginia license for practicing as a Physical Therapist without any history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Experience working with orthopedic patients in outpatient settings is necessary.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a physical therapist in home care settings, managing a diverse caseload.
• Expertise in developing and implementing targeted rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to optimize patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
