Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive and thorough patient assessments to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic evaluations, such as blood tests, imaging studies, and other relevant tests.
- Formulate and implement treatment plans addressing both acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with patient needs and maintain oversight of treatment efficacy.
- Document patient care accurately to comply with regulatory standards and facilitate seamless communication.
- Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding preventive health strategies and management of health issues.
- Continuously evaluate patient progress and adapt care strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and research initiatives to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals from varied socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities, and age groups. You will have the opportunity to address a wide range of health issues, from common acute illnesses to chronic disease management, ensuring holistic and culturally competent care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
Qualifications
- A valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and DEA number.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical settings, particularly primary and acute care.
- Strong foundation in health regulations and patient safety practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with patients and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical, hospital, emergency room, or urgent care context.
- Proficient in medical technology relevant to patient assessments and interventions.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous but not a requirement.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 160,000 to 200,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
