Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of front-end innovation projects from idea generation through proof-of-concept and commercialization.
- Conduct laboratory, pilot and prototyping activities to evaluate new materials, technologies, and product functionalities.
- Assist in project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and timelines.
- Monitor market, technology, and patent trends to identify innovation opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including universities, research institutes, suppliers, and customers.
- Contribute to the development of new value-added products while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Initial experience in R&D, innovation, or product development, preferably within nonwovens, textiles, chemicals, or specialty paper industries.
- Basic knowledge of raw materials (fibers, polymers, additives) and nonwoven production technologies.
- Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and innovation mindset.
- Fluent in English; German and/or French skills are advantageous.
- High level of commitment, willingness to work in laboratory environments, and readiness to learn.
