Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate client progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements while ensuring client confidentiality.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other social workers, to provide holistic care to clients.
• Educate and support clients and their families, equipping them with tools and strategies to cope with mental health challenges.
• Stay current with the latest research in mental health to enhance treatment methodologies and identify best practices to implement in your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including adults, families, and individuals coping with conditions such as chronic illness, end-of-life challenges, and psychological distress. Your role will be instrumental in fostering resilience and promoting coping strategies for those during some of their most vulnerable times.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and collaboration.
