Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, you will take lead responsibility for psychotherapy services provided to clients. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate mental health status, history, and needs.
- Developing personalized treatment plans in accordance with established best practices, emphasizing solution-focused and evidence-based interventions.
- Implementing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other relevant techniques based on individual client needs.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards and organizational policies, ensuring timely updates and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with an integrated treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated care and enhance clinical effectiveness.
- Engaging in regular case consultations and peer reviews to elevate the standard of care while participating in ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Providing education and resources to clients and their families, aiding understanding of mental health challenges, treatment pathways, and available local resources.
- Remaining informed about current trends, research, and advancements in the mental health landscape, incorporating this learning into practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse range of patients from various backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, actively addressing their unique mental health challenges. Our clients include children, adolescents, adults, and families encountering issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts. Your role is pivotal in guiding them towards achieving their treatment goals and enhancing overall well-being.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
- At least two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services.
- Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused interventions and an array of therapeutic modalities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for case assessment and management.
- A collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a school setting or with juvenile populations is a plus.
- Familiarity with remote therapy tools and digital health platforms.
- Knowledge of community resources and support systems for patient referral and assistance.
Compensation and Benefits
