Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Facilitation of Group Therapy: Lead engaging sessions that encourage sharing and connection among clients, fostering a supportive atmosphere.
- Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide personalized counseling that explores clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and assists in developing tailored coping strategies.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to establish goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their individual needs and aspirations.
- Progress Monitoring: Use assessment tools and client feedback to evaluate treatment efficacy and adapt plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
- Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with nutritionists, case managers, and other therapists to deliver comprehensive care and consult on complex cases.
- Client Empowerment: Focus on inspiring hope and nurturing resilience, aiming to provide clients and their families with tools to overcome challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our primary focus is on serving teenagers and young adults aged 18 to 30, particularly those enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces unique challenges, including transition-related stress, anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Your expertise will help guide them through these critical developmental phases, fostering personal growth and emotional stability.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
- Strong ability to engage clients in therapeutic processes and facilitate group dynamics.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with a minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health treatment, particularly in outpatient settings focusing on young adult populations, will be preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for ongoing education.
