Key Responsibilities
In your role as an LICSW, your primary responsibilities will involve:
- Delivering high-quality psychotherapy services tailored to individual patient needs and concerns.
- Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health status of patients and developing evidence-informed treatment plans that incorporate the latest best practices.
- Utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring that the selected interventions align with the evolving needs of clients.
- Maintaining timely and accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, while also ensuring confidentiality and the proper management of sensitive patient information.
- Engaging collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care and enhance patient outcomes.
- Participating in regular case meetings to stay aligned with treatment goals and continuously improve the quality of care.
- Providing education and resources to patients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment pathways, and support services available in the community.
- Staying current with mental health research and clinical advancements to refine your therapeutic approach.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse range of patients, including those at various stages of life and facing an array of mental health concerns. Our approach emphasizes patient-centered care, meaning you will focus on understanding individual experiences, preferences, and cultural backgrounds to inform your treatment strategies. As you provide care in a remote hospice center, you will specifically address the complex emotional and psychological needs of hospice patients and their families.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- A valid license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services to diverse populations.
- Expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to connect with patients and colleagues effectively.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with hospice patients and their families is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in digital health technologies and remote patient care platforms.
