Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments that inform the development of tailored treatment plans incorporating evidence-based best practices.
- Delivering individualized psychotherapy using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), facilitating patients to achieve their mental health goals.
- Documenting clinical interactions meticulously and in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal policies to protect patient confidentiality.
- Engaging in collaborative care with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure well-coordinated and effective treatment.
- Participating in regular case consultations and peer review sessions aimed at enhancing the quality of patient care through collective insights and shared expertise.
- Providing education and support not only to patients but also their families, shedding light on mental health challenges, treatment options, and available resources in the community to promote holistic wellness.
- Staying abreast of emerging research and methodologies in the mental health landscape to continuously refine your practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our client base consists of diverse individuals across different demographics, often facing a range of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, dual diagnoses, and substance use disorders. By working remotely, you will have the opportunity to engage with patients from various backgrounds, employing culturally sensitive approaches to provide the most effective care.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
- A minimum of 2 years of progressive clinical experience, specifically in providing psychotherapy services.
- Expertise in solution-focused therapeutic interventions and demonstrated proficiency in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, with a focus on tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.
- The ability to thrive in a team-based environment, contributing to collective goals while working independently.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a remote clinical setting is highly desirable, as is familiarity with telehealth technologies that facilitate therapy delivery. Additionally, specialization in areas such as substance use recovery or trauma-informed care will be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
