Family Legacy Psychotherapy PC is seeking dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to provide high-quality outpatient counseling services. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the freedom to work from home while maintaining a flexible schedule tailored to your needs and those of your clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health to establish a deep understanding of their unique needs.
• Create personalized treatment plans that are rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring they are reflective of clients' goals and feedback.
• Provide engaging individual therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities suited for clients of all ages.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing communication, conflict resolution, and relationship building among partners.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans according to clients' progress and evolving circumstances.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including progress notes and treatment histories, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Respond effectively to crises and provide immediate support to clients experiencing acute emotional distress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying abreast of the latest research and practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring they are informed and empowered to make decisions regarding their treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Family Legacy Psychotherapy, you will work with a varied clientele, including adolescents, adults, and couples, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and more. Our commitment extends to fostering a supportive space where each individual feels valued and heard, thereby enhancing therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is mandatory.
• Strong experience in providing therapy to both individuals and couples, showcasing your ability to adapt methods to fit client needs.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably with diverse populations.
• Experience in employing evidence-based treatment modalities effectively in therapy.
• Background in crisis intervention techniques and strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
